Dubai CommerCity, the region’s first dedicated e-commerce free zone, is taking part in the 2019 edition of the SIL and eDelivery Barcelona Expo & Congress, being held from June 26-28 at Fira de Barcelona Montjuïc site.

Through its participation, Dubai CommerCity will demonstrate the wealth of opportunities available to those looking to operate in the region. It will also showcase its various services and offerings that facilitate business’ entry into the UAE and support them in launching their business to help reach regional markets.

Dubai CommerCity will provide advanced opportunities for global and regional manufacturers, as well as distributors and global e-retailers. It will facilitate a business ecosystem for companies in the e-commerce industry such as e-payment gateway businesses, internet service providers and others. Divided into three main clusters – business, logistics and social, Dubai CommerCity will be a home for innovation, new technology, state of the art services and modern infrastructure.

Participating in SIL 2019, one of the largest international logistics events, represents a strategic step for us. It is a highly renowned networking and knowledge-transfer platform, through which, we aim to introduce attendees to Dubai’s unique business opportunities and investor-friendly environment.

The first e-commerce free zone in the MENA region, Dubai CommerCity is being constructed by the Dubai Airport Free Zone Authority (DAFZA) in partnership with Wasl Asset Management Group, and is a strategic project, aimed at elevating Dubai’s position as a leading hub for e-commerce, supporting economic diversification and smart transformation. It is set to shape the future of e-commerce in Dubai, becoming a regional hub for the industry by providing unique services that add value to customers in the MENA region.

The 21st edition of the international event will gather around 650 companies, and will be held under the theme, ‘Supply Chain and Industry 4.0: the new era of digitalization and sustainability’, in parallel to the AICE and the Intrade Summit BCN, which includes the Alacat Congress, the International Congress of Operators Economic Authorized (OAE), among others.
