Las Vegas – The Munchie Mafia is not your normal non-fungible token (NFT) up for sale. In fact, they have created a new ‘family’ with a purpose of bringing harmony in the physical world.
The exclusive NFT collection consists of 12 uniquely hand-painted characters that include super rare and limited-edition series variations not yet seen on any other NFT project. The animals have formed a syndicate to reclaim the forest with real-life utilization.
“This metaverse family seeks to guide humanity to restore the physical world so that the future animal kingdoms and humanity can live together in harmony here on earth,” said Lester Sydney, founder of the Munchie Mafia.
Backstory
Twelve Capo deiCapi, Bosses of Bosses, overseeing 4,200 of their species, were living comfortably in the forests feeding off the bounty of Mother Earth. The forest was safe until a group of humans having an afterparty from a nearby nightclub left the fire burning which destroyed 96% of the forest. The Black Hand organized the forest, creating a syndicate of animals along with their families to take back the night clubs to ensure humans party and steward the earth responsibly.
“To fund this global initiative to reforest the earth, the Munchie Mafia is creating 25,000 plus unique products and the Munchie Mafia Night Club to help steward the planet responsibly,” said Sydney.
Partnerships
Combining the meta with matter, the Munchie Mafia has partnered with the International Rhino Foundation and the Rainforest Trust, pledging a percentage of the sales to help fund projects to protect habitats and the wildlife that call them home.
“Conservation needs new funding streams and I believe that NFTs have the capability to make a difference and raise awareness for actions that we can take to repair and protect our planet,” said Sydney.
Seeking to bring a strong community and one-of-a-kind experiences, the Munchie Mafia has also partnered with DJ iRie for exclusive online and offline special events.
