The Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce (ABCC) is set to host the fifth edition of its webinar series on Wednesday, May 20, 2020. The coming edition will discuss the topic, ‘International business and legal safety amidst the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic,’ and will feature specialists from Brazilian and Arab countries. The webinar is aimed at providing advice to participants on what to look for before entering into contracts with suppliers or clients coming from other countries.
The webinar will discuss key points of a recent study that showcases the impact made by COVID-19 and what businesses are doing in response to it. During the online session, invited speakers will share their insights and knowledge covering international contracts–including the essential steps to mitigate risks. Participants will also learn hotel industry insights on the repercussions made by the pandemic. Representatives from a leading tour operator and import-export company are expected to take part in the webinar to share their experiences and insights about the crisis.
Rubens Hannun, President, Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce, said, "We are proud to announce the fifth edition of our webinar series, which will focus on legal safety in international business during this global pandemic. This is a timely and strategic topic as key precaution and care should be taken when it comes to entering into contractual agreements right now–placing special attention on legal safety to protect the parties forging the agreement. Our goal is to build and provide more positive, synergistic avenues for discussions which can lead to strategic partnerships and joint efforts in facilitating trade between Brazilian and Arab countries."
The Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce is overwhelmed at the positive response that we have been receiving for these webinars that had been organizing, which is aimed towards providing much-needed guidance and advice to companies and organizations.
