Goshopia, Dubai’s first-ever sustainable fashion e-marketplace platform is set to launch its website this April in line with the Fashion Revolution Day to commemorate the 2013 Rana Plaza building collapse and aims to revolutionize the country’s fashion scene by introducing environmental-friendly and socially sustainable fashion products which highlights the importance of making environmentally and ethically conscious purchases rather than trend-driven ones.

The term Goshopia is a combination of three words; Go + Shop + Utopia. It is the brand’s formula to promote slow and responsible fashion in the country.

Goshopia, a Dubai-based sustainable online e-marketplace offering high-quality designer clothes and accessories for both men and women was born out of love for Nature andPeople and the idea that is possible to change the fast-fashion scene one step at a time. “I love fashion, but I also love the idea that what I dress or consume will not damage the environment or contribute to impoverish the people producing them. Fortunately, I am not the only one. There is room for a good and sustainable fashion.” Says Araceli Gallego, founder of Goshopia.

Goshopia brings together fashion designers and brands that have a more sustainable and ethical approach in their mindset and follow at least one of the brands 3 S’s: Slow fashion,Sustainability and Social Responsibility.

Goshopia aims to increase the number of consumers shopping consciously and conveying the message that you can dress for any occasion in a stylish and more sustainable way.

Goshopia hosted a media preview on April 22, 2019 at Lah Lah Restaurant (Hotel Zabeel House by Jumeirah) The Greens to further create awareness about the new platform that is going to change how people from the UAE shop fashion. Focusing in slow, sustainable and socially responsible fashion brands.
