ITWORX Education’s globally acclaimed social e-learning platform, WinjiGo, has won the Innovation Product Award in the e-learning category at the 4th annual Global Educational Supplies and Solutions (GESS) Awards in Dubai. ITWORX Education was awarded the coveted title during a special ceremony recently held at the H Hotel, following its participation at the 10th Global Educational Supplies and Solutions (GESS) Exhibition and Conference, where the front-running education services provider, in partnership with Microsoft, shared next generation ideas and innovative, technology-led classroom practices and solutions to stakeholders in the field.
The Innovation Product Award honors ITWORX Education’s successful implementation of its WinjiGo platform at a Syrian refugee camp in Bekaa Valley, Lebanon, and highlights its excellence in harnessing cutting-edge technology towards delivering sustainable, quality education to “Children in Distress” around the world.
Commenting on the occasion, Mr. Hatem Sallam, CEO of ITWORX Education, said:
“It is an honor to win GESS’s highly regarded Innovation Product Award, which is not only a testament to the power and versatility of the ‘WinjiGo’ platform, but also pays homage to ITWORX Education’s unwavering commitment to push boundaries and bring continuous progress to the e-learning arena in the region as well as across the globe. Thanks to a setup process that doesn’t require significant additional investments such as building schools, or time-consuming tasks such as waiting for skilled teachers, the project’s implementation is fast and streamlined, and can take place whenever and wherever it may be needed, extending WinjiGo’s competence to serve previously unexplored territories”
Designed to deliver an engaging and interactive social learning experience, the WinjiGo e-learning platform is equipped with a set of rich features that promote 21st Century skills, including course planning, a gamified learning experience for formative and summative assessment, self-assessment, social communities, and virtual classrooms. WinjiGo’s learning platform uses a blended learning model, with digital content tied into curriculums and smart technology-powered learning centers.
ITWORX Education is currently working on several initiatives that aim to introduce its inventive e-learning solutions and deliver sustainable, quality education to the children of the world, not only to Syrian refugee students, but also to “Children in Distress” who currently have no access to education because of wars or natural disasters.
