In line with the directives of the wise leadership to accelerate the pace of digital transformation in the emirate, the Rental Disputes Center (RDC) at Dubai Land Department (DLD), has launched two new e-services developed by Emirates Real Estate Solutions Company (ERES). This step aligns with RDC’s comprehensive plan to automate its services and provide them through digital channels, across electronic platforms.

The first service is the registration of the first instance lawsuits for joint ownership issues, allowing the owner or any party to register the lawsuit through the registration channels, including service centres, physically at RDC and electronically through DLD’s website and the Dubai REST application. The registration process is done through the notification or property number, or even by searching for the property in the real estate registry at DLD.

The second service is registering the appeal against the jointly-owned property judge. It allows the owner or any party to register the appeal against a first instance lawsuit registered in the system via the same registration channels by using the number of the first instance case, and completing the required procedures.

RDC has set a fee of AED 120 for each of the two services, which reflect the general direction of the emirate to automate customer services and ensure satisfaction and comfort, along with supporting the integrated digital transformation journey.

DLD’s customers can access new services electronically by downloading the Dubai REST application available on the Apple and Play stores. DLD encourages its customers to constantly update their data by contacting the call centre via DLD’s unified number 8004488 in order to facilitate procedures and ensure optimal use of the services available on the application.
